A Christmas Carol

The assignment was a visual representation of "reformed" Scrooge at the end of A Christmas Carol.

Not sure why I went with the UPA/ Maurice Noble style background other than Maurice Noble rules.

If this looks like a Dance Party I'd better start over. Scrooge is dancing, but Bob Cratchit is supposed to be backing away, and looking at the ruler on the desk.

"Bob trembled, and got a little nearer to the ruler. He had a momentary idea of knocking Scrooge down with it, holding him, and calling to the people in the court for help and a strait-waistcoast."

Hey Derek!
Just wanted to look up what you've been working on over the past years since I really haven't seen your work since high school. I was shocked at how improved you are, not that I had any doubt. These look like they could be on TV easily. Do you do the digital art online or with a program using layers?
Congrats on the work!

Thanks Janice! To answer your question, the vast majority of what I do digitally is done in Photoshop. As far as animation goes, its done by hand on paper, and compiled and coloured in flipbook. 3D stuff is all done in Maya, but I actually haven't posted any of that yet, come to think of it.
