A member on a forum I frequent commissioned me to draw a scene from a novel he wrote. The money went to my sister to help her and my nephew out.
The piece he got out of the deal is 3X the size and has no watermark, just my signature.
All digital, only thumbnailing done pencil & paper. Still getting used to this.

Thanks! I'm experimenting a lot with my digital line quality.
Instead of doing everything with the brush tool or with the pen, I use the pen for some of it, adjusting the minimum diameter so it doesn't look stupid, and the brush for most of it.
I then go back in with the pen rather than the eraser to smooth out lines. Takes some time but I'm liking the results.
Ah this turned out really nice. I remember seeing some of the WIP on your desk when I was in Oakville.
The kid is definitely my favourite part.
